Alicia Clavell is an academic and writer serving as Senior Instructor in the Department of Marketing, Industrial Distribution, and Economics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), within the Collat School of Business. She specializes in creative writing, poetry, and business communication, with notable works including her book Southern Kitchens and Dining Spaces and her role as founder and co-editor of the Southern Women's Review.
Clavell holds a Master of English in Creative Writing from UAB, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Berry College, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She has also earned certifications in Business Research and Technical and Professional Writing.
