Alicia Carroll is a Professor and Department Chair of English at Auburn University. She holds a PhD from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and specializes in Victorian Studies and Ecocriticism. Carroll actively mentors both graduate and undergraduate students in these fields.

Key Publications include her monograph New Woman Ecologies: From Arts and Crafts to the Great War and Beyond (2019) and co-edited works examining Victorian environmental narratives. She also contributed to the Quilts of Gee’s Bend in Context website as a lead faculty member.
