Alice Milner is Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography at Royal Holloway, researching peatland carbon storage and wet woodland ecosystems. She co-founded the Wet Woodlands Research Network and Broadland Ecohydrological Observatory.
Science-policy work includes evidence synthesis for UK government (Defra) and mechanisms for academic-policy knowledge exchange. Current projects examine peatland responses to sea-level rise and climate stressors.
