Alice Martin Thomas

Professor Alice Martin Thomas is a tenured Associate Professor at Howard University School of Law, where she has taught since 2007. She specializes in tax and commercial law, including courses on Federal Individual Income Taxation, Nonprofit/Tax-Exempt Organizations, Contracts, Secured Transactions, and Sales.

Her research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), Tax-Exempt Law, and Critical Race Theory in relation to wealth. She has presented at international SOTL conferences and served as a mentor in this field.
