Alice Fiddian-Green is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at the University of San Francisco's School of Nursing and Health Professions. Her work focuses on using storytelling methods such as digital storytelling, 'zines, and photovoice to address social and structural determinants of substance use and treatment, particularly among pregnant individuals and adolescents. She emphasizes health equity and countering stigmatizing narratives through participatory research approaches.

Research interests include reproductive health justice, opioid use interventions, and the intersection of storytelling with policy. Her recent publications explore barriers to medication adherence in opioid use disorder treatment and conceptual models linking digital storytelling to wellbeing.
Awards include recognition as an Exemplary Graduate Student by Delta Omega (2020) and selection for the Michigan Integrative Well-Being and Inequality Training Program (2024-2025). She currently serves as Vice Chair of her department, DEI committee co-chair, and policy board representative.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on community-based research, health policy ethics, and leadership. She actively contributes to university governance through roles like Fellow of the Ignatian Colleagues Program.
