Dr. Alice Bush is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of East Anglia (UEA), part of the School of Psychology. She holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from UEA, followed by a postdoctoral position at the University of Alberta (Canada). Her research focuses on episodic and autobiographical memory processes, multisensory memory integration, and the neural mechanisms underlying memory formation/retrieval using functional neuroimaging techniques like fMRI and EEG. She collaborates with the Memory and Ageing Lab led by Dr. Louis Renoult.
Teaching responsibilities include supervising Year 3 research projects and MSc Cognitive Neuroscience dissertations, alongside contributing to modules like 'Understanding Yourself' and 'Psychology in Context'. Recent work includes a 2023 study on memory recollection using novel stimuli databases. She participates in academic activities such as the UEA Student Experience Conference (2025) and the PSY Student Sessions podcast.
