Alice Abernathy, MD, MSHP, is an active Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Medical Ethics & Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, where she founded the Maternal Reproductive Health working group.

Her work integrates clinical obstetrics, health economics, and ethical frameworks to promote reproductive justice and maternal well-being.
