Ali Darejeh

Dr. Ali Darejeh is a Lecturer and Computer Science researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). With a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from UNSW, he brings over 10 years of combined teaching, research, and industry experience to his academic work.

His research spans educational technologies with a focus on virtual and augmented reality, serious games, gamification, e-learning systems, and user interface design for users with disabilities. Dr. Darejeh conducts interdisciplinary research that integrates new technologies with psychological and educational theories such as cognitive load, self-determination, and constructivism to design software for special needs populations and eLearning platforms that enhance user motivation and learning performance.

His publications reflect expertise in virtual reality applications across multiple domains, with particular emphasis on educational contexts, healthcare simulations, and user interface design. His research demonstrates consistent focus on how immersive technologies can be leveraged to improve learning outcomes and accessibility.

As founder of Research Tech Software Solution and Degree game studio, he bridges academic research with commercial application development for game-based learning platforms and innovative mobile applications.
