Dr. Ali AlHammadi serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He maintains active affiliation with the Center for Catalysis and Separation Research, focusing on interdisciplinary engineering solutions for energy and environmental challenges.
His academic foundation includes a BSc in Chemical Engineering (honors with distinction) from the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi (2007–2011), followed by a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University, Houston, TX, USA (2011–2016). He further completed the Mohammed Bin Rashid Impactful Leadership Program, enhancing his strategic capabilities.
Research spans thermophysical phenomena in complex fluids, AI-driven materials discovery, and petroleum engineering critical to Middle Eastern energy contexts. His work integrates computational modeling with practical environmental applications, particularly:
