Alfred Sköld is an Associate Professor in Psychology at Aalborg University's Department of Communication and Psychology, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. His research focuses on existential psychology topics like grief, love, happiness, and hope, with a current emphasis on emotions within climate activism. He holds a PhD from Aalborg University (2021), an M.A. in Philosophy (2013), and a clinical psychology degree (2018).

Recent projects include the Emotions of Climate Activism (2022–2024) and Kampen om lykken (2018–2020).
