Alexis Kouvidakis

Alexis Kouvidakis is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics within the School of Sciences and Engineering at the University of Crete. His research focuses on Algebraic Geometry, particularly in areas such as divisors, moduli spaces, Hodge theory, and the geometry of cubic hypersurfaces. He has published extensively on symmetric products of curves, Hurwitz spaces, and Fano surfaces, with recent work exploring effective divisors on projectivized Hodge bundles and geometric properties of cubic fourfolds.
