Alexis Edward Shafii

Dr. Alexis Edward Shafii is a Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and serves as the Surgical Director of Heart Transplantation at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. His expertise spans cardiothoracic transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and adult cardiac surgery.

• Education: MD from University of South Florida College of Medicine, BS in Biochemistry from Boston College.
