Alexej Jerschow is a Professor of Chemistry at New York University (NYU), leading research in NMR/MRI methodology and applications. His work focuses on battery diagnostics using in situ NMR/MRI, nuclear spin singlet states, and computational approaches like MD/ab initio methods.
Education: Ph.D. from the University of Linz, Austria; graduate research at the MR Center (Sintef-Unimed, Trondheim, Norway); postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and University of California, Berkeley.
Research interests span interdisciplinary applications of magnetic resonance, including energy storage diagnostics and fundamental spin dynamics.
