Alexandria Scherr

Dr. Alexandria 'Alex' Scherr is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) programs at Belmont University's College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. She is based in the Janet Ayers Academic Center and holds the following degrees from Belmont:

• Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD)
• Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Her research integrates clinical expertise with academic inquiry, focusing on two primary domains:

• Interprofessional Education and Simulation – Developing collaborative healthcare training methodologies
• Neurological and Visual Rehabilitation – Designing interventions for acquired impairments

This work is informed by her extensive background in adult rehabilitation settings.
