Alexandre BRANDWAJN is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), affiliated with the Jack Baskin School of Engineering. He holds advanced degrees including a B.A. from the University of Paris IV Sorbonne and Doctoral degrees (Docteur-Ingénieur and Docteur d'Etat) from the University of Paris VI (UPMC), along with qualifications from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST). His research focuses on performance modeling, queueing networks, and computer architecture, with recent emphasis on efficient solutions for large systems, conditional probability applications, and virtualized systems.
