Dr. Alexandra Ziemann is a Researcher at CAPHRI Care and Public Health Research Institute, Maastricht University, specializing in implementation and improvement science, knowledge translation, and evidence-informed health policy. Her work spans European public health and emergency medical services research with a focus on systems thinking and cross-country comparisons.

Dr. Ziemann's research interests focus on implementation science, knowledge translation, and evidence-informed health policy and practice. She applies health geography perspectives to understand European health systems and policy implementation.
Her scientific contributions include systematic reviews and frameworks examining implementation outcomes, patient and public involvement in healthcare innovation, and contextual factors influencing the spread of health interventions across different settings.
