Dr. Alexandra Treder is an Equal Opportunities Officer and Research Associate at the University of Paderborn's Faculty of Arts and Humanities. She currently holds a DAAD-Lektorin position at FES Acatlán, UNAM (Mexico City) since September 2024. Previously, she served as a research associate in German as a Second Language at the University of Paderborn (2022–2024) and DAAD language assistant at the University of Seville (2021–2022). Her academic career includes teaching German as a foreign/second language at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and vocational German in adult education contexts.
Education:

- BA in German as a Foreign/Second Language & Intercultural Business Communication (2013–2018), same institution
Research Interests: Focuses on multilingualism in professional education contexts, intercultural language pedagogy, migration-related language acquisition, and teacher subjectivation processes in post-migrant societies. Current PhD project examines teachers' language-related identity development in multicultural settings.

Professional Activities: Organized interdisciplinary conferences on multilingualism and cultural spaces, led graduate workshops, and contributed to diversity initiatives at university level.
