Dr Alexandra S. Ilieva is a Lecturer in Buddhist Studies at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge. She teaches Buddhism to undergraduates and supervises students on papers A7, B16, and C10. Her research focuses on intercultural philosophy, integrating Madhyamaka Buddhism and Neo-pragmatism to explore language, mind, and metaphilosophy. She is currently working on a book, Exploring Buddhist Philosophy, for Equinox Publishing’s Global Philosophy Series.

- B.A. (Philosophy & Psychology) from New York University
- M.A. (Transcultural Studies) from University of Heidelberg
- PhD (Divinity, University of Cambridge) on Nagarjuna’s philosophy of language and Neo-pragmatism
- Research Interests: Anti-representationalist semantics, Rorty’s metaphilosophy, and mental health through Indian thought systems.
