Alexandra Paio is an Associate Professor at Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon, affiliated with the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning and DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte - Center for Studies on Socioeconomic Change and Territory. She holds a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism (2011), a Master’s in Urban Design (2002), and a Bachelor’s in Architecture (1993). She has held key academic leadership roles, including Coordinator of the Doctorate in Architecture of Contemporary Metropolitan Territories (2017–2023), Co-coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Digital Innovation for Design Practices (Iscte/FAUP), and Scientific Coordinator of the Vitruvius Fablab-IUL (2011–2022).
