Alexandra Oeser

Alexandra Oeser is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Paris Nanterre, specializing in political sociology, gender and sexuality studies, everyday history, and the sociology of emotions. She actively bridges German and French sociological traditions and co-edited a special issue on 'The Politics of Voluntariness in Modern History' for Rethinking History in 2025.
