Alexandra Moore

Alexandra Moore is a Professor at Binghamton University's College of Arts and Sciences, affiliated with the Human Rights Institute and the Department of English, General Literature and Rhetoric. She holds a PhD and MA from the University of Rochester, alongside an MPA from Syracuse University.

Her scholarly work examines human rights violations in the global war on terror, including analyses of Guantánamo detainee testimonies, visual representations of torture, and postcolonial critiques of state violence. Recent publications explore intersections of art, law, and memory in carceral contexts.
