Dr Alexandra Lumbers serves as the full-time Academic Director at Jesus College, University of Oxford, overseeing academic policy, administration, and strategic planning. She holds the roles of Senior Tutor, Tutor for Admissions (undergraduate and postgraduate), and Tutor for Graduates. Her responsibilities include managing the Academic Office team, student recruitment/induction, academic progress monitoring, and disciplinary oversight. She supports graduate students and oversees admissions for ~170 new students annually.
Education: BA and MA in History from the University of Southampton, followed by a DPhil in early-modern British History at Brasenose College, Oxford (completed 2005).
