Alexandra Kemmerer

Alexandra Kemmerer is a Senior Research Fellow and Academic Coordinator at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, leading its Berlin Office. Formerly co-director of the transregional research program Rechtskulturen: Confrontations beyond Comparison at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin and Humboldt University Law School, she co-founded the legal blog Verfassungsblog and leads the centennial historiographical project MPIL100. Her academic background includes law studies at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, University College Galway, German University for Administrative Sciences Speyer, and an LLM in European Law from Würzburg.
