Alexandra Guajardo, Ph.D., PA-C, CLS is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Assessment Coordinator in the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Taganrog State University of Radioengineering (Russia), an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science from Michigan State University.
Her research focuses on addressing healthcare disparities in rural and underserved communities through telemedicine integration, substance use disorder training, and enhancing preceptor resources. She emphasizes interprofessional collaboration to improve patient care in rural settings.
