Alexandra Greenwald is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Curator of Ethnography at the Natural History Museum of Utah, University of Utah, since 2019. Her research focuses on North American archaeology, bioarchaeology, and behavioral ecology, with a particular emphasis on maternal energetics, isotopic dietary reconstruction, and ethno-experimental methods.

Her research interests include:
- Isotopic analysis of weaning and childhood diets
- Behavioral ecology of Indigenous cradle technology
- Lithic technology investment and mobility patterns
- Collaborative work with descendant communities
