She holds a PhD from Swinburne University, where she investigated sex-related functional brain differences in psychosis predisposition. Her role involves supporting research projects, conducting MRI/statistical analyses, manuscript preparation, and student supervision.
Dr. Gaillard's research spans cognitive neuropsychiatry, neuroimaging, and psychopharmacology, with a focus on neural mechanisms underlying sex differences in executive control and psychosis. She has taught extensively in Biomedical Science disciplines including Neurophysiology and Cardiopulmonary Renal Physiology.
Her recent publications (2020-2016) demonstrate a consistent focus on cognitive neuroscience, particularly sex differences in executive function and inhibitory control using neuroimaging techniques.
