Alexandra Cooperstock is a researcher at Brown University, affiliated with the Population Studies and Training Center. Her work focuses on racial/ethnic and class inequalities in neighborhoods and schools, examining how policy contexts influence these dynamics.

Her research spans social stratification, sociology of education, community and urban sociology, public policy, and social and spatial demography.
