Alexandra Bensamoun is a Professor of Private Law and Criminal Sciences at Université Paris-Saclay. She holds administrative roles as a qualified member of the Higher Council for Literary and Artistic Property (CSPLA) and an elected member of the National Council of Universities (CNU, Section 01). She leads training programs such as the Master 2 in Digital Law and the Master 2 in Fundamental Intellectual Property and Digital Technologies.
Her research focuses on digital law, AI ethics, intellectual property, and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. She has organized numerous colloquia on topics like AI regulation, copyright in digital environments, and legal challenges posed by platforms and generative AI.
She supervises doctoral students exploring AI’s societal impacts, data privacy, and legal innovations. Her academic contributions include publications on AI’s ethical implications, digital sovereignty, and the interplay between technology and fundamental rights.
