Alexandra (Alli) Duffy

Alexandra (Alli) Duffy is an Assistant Research Professor at North Carolina State University, affiliated with the Center for Human Health and the Environment (CHHE), an NIEHS P30 Center. She leads the Specimen Processing Lab within the Environmental Epigenetics and Epidemiology research group and supports multi-institutional human health cohort studies, including STRIVE, NEST, and SHIP. Her research integrates field and lab-based behavioral experiments, analytical chemistry, comparative morphology, and genetics to explore animal behavior, evolution, and chemical ecology.

Dr. Duffy’s work is highly interdisciplinary, combining experimental and analytical approaches to address questions at the intersection of ecology, evolution, and environmental health. Her contributions include advancing methodologies for studying biological systems and supporting large-scale epidemiological investigations.
