He holds a PhD from the University of Tübingen (2020) and has conducted research visits at MIT (2017), University of Connecticut (2024), and Università degli Studi di Firenze (2011). His work focuses on conditional constructions, presuppositions, and cross-linguistic variation in Mandarin, Japanese, and German. Currently leading the DFG-funded SYSSI project (Scalarty at the Syntax-Semantics Interface), he teaches advanced semantics, pragmatics, and linguistics pedagogy. His research bridges formal semantics with typological studies, addressing topics like conditional perfection, mood systems, and scalar implicatures.
Education: PhD in Linguistics (Tübingen 2020), MA in German Linguistics (2015), First State Exam in German/Philosophy (2015). Languages: Native German, fluent English, advanced Italian/French, basic Spanish/Latin/Chinese.

He actively participates in international conferences like NELS, SuB, and ICLC, and mentors students in semantics/pragmatics through advanced course instruction.
