Professor Alexander Rehding is a musicologist at Harvard University's Department of Music since 2003, holding the Fanny Peabody Professorship. He serves as editor-in-chief of the Oxford Handbooks Music Online series and previously edited Acta Musicologica. His research bridges the history of music theory, cultural history of music, and digital humanities, focusing on the 19th century and ancient world.
