Alexander Mitterle

Dr. Alexander Mitterle is a research associate and project leader at the Center for School and Educational Research of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. His work spans organizational sociology, higher education research, and the sociological analysis of academic time and stratification. He has held visiting positions at the University of Hamburg and Pennsylvania State University, and has been associated with institutions including the Institute for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ifm) at the University of Mannheim and the DFG Research Group on Elite Formation in the German Education System.
