Dr Alexander Malcolm Macmillan is a researcher at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and serves as the Acting Head of KGLMF within the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre (MWAC). With expertise in analytical chemistry and materials science, he contributes to advancing research infrastructure and biomedical analysis capabilities at one of Australia’s largest shared scientific facilities.
MWAC hosts 25 labs and 400+ major instruments, supporting interdisciplinary research in areas like clean energy, quantum computing, and health sciences. Dr Macmillan’s work focuses on enabling access to cutting-edge technologies for both academic and industry partners.
