Alexander Lübbe

Alexander Lübbe is a Professor of Business Informatics at Brandenburg University of Technology specializing in Business Process Management and Automation technologies. Since 2019, he has served as Programme Spokesperson for the dual Bachelor's program in Business Informatics and is an elected member of the University Senate. He actively participates in the Process Management Working Group at TH Wildau and maintains external engagements with the BPM Initiative Berlin, ABPMP DACH Chapter (as Vice President of Academic Affairs), and KINOVA's advisory board for AI in customer service.

His research focuses on translating technological possibilities into lean organizational workflows through digitalization of business processes. Expertise spans software and technology selection, management disciplines, and IT consulting. As a TÜV Rheinland-certified person examiner in Process Management, he contributes to BPM education quality assurance beyond academia. Teaching covers business process modeling to automation, foundational information technologies, and software implementation in enterprises.

Professor Lübbe supervises bachelor's theses on practical business informatics applications including process automation (Integromat platform), GRC systems (HiScout), ITIL 4 implementation in banking, web rendering technologies, CRM/ERP for small businesses, data science in vehicle maintenance, and data protection frameworks. Past projects address real-world challenges like stock monitoring at Zalando SE and digitalization in hair salon management.
