Alexander Kolevzon

Dr. Alexander Kolevzon is a Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves as Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for the Mount Sinai Health System and Clinical Director of the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment. His research focuses on neurobiological mechanisms of autism spectrum disorders, with particular emphasis on biomarker discovery and developing novel therapeutics for genetic syndromes like Phelan-McDermid, FOXP1, and ADNP syndromes.

His recent publications demonstrate multidisciplinary approaches spanning genetics, epidemiology, and clinical pharmacology in autism research, with consistent focus on translational applications for neurodevelopmental disorders.
