Dr Alexander Greenhough is the Wallscourt Associate Professor at the School of Applied Sciences, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), leading their long-term health conditions research programme. He holds an honorary Senior Lecturer position at the University of Bristol's School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. His research focuses on cancer cell biology, tumor microenvironment dynamics, and translational cancer research. Dr Greenhough completed his BSc at the University of Warwick and PhD at the University of Bristol under Prof Chris Paraskeva. He has secured significant funding from Bowel Cancer UK, Sosei Heptares, BBSRC, and the Wellcome Trust.
