Dr. Alexander Gilder is Associate Professor of International Law and Security at the University of Reading (UK) and Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University's School of Humanitarian Studies. He holds additional positions as Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute and Academic Consultant for NATO HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.
Gilder's research examines UN peacekeeping operations, human security frameworks in military contexts (particularly NATO), and legal dimensions of international peace and security. His work develops analytical frameworks applied in conflict zones like Mali, CAR, and South Sudan.
