Alexander Denzler

Alexander Denzler is a Professor at the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology (HSLU), specializing in Blockchain Technology and Natural Language Processing. He currently serves as Co-Head of the Information Systems Research Lab and is the Founder & Director of the Crypto Valley Conference on Blockchain Technology (IEEE). His academic roles include lecturing on Blockchain Fundamentals, Natural Language Processing, and Big Data Analytics.

Education: Denzler holds a Ph.D. from the University of Freiburg (CH) with a thesis on 'A Finder and Representation System for Knowledge Carriers Based on Granular Computing', and a DAS in University Pedagogy (Hochschuldidaktik) from the University of Fribourg. His research focuses on blockchain applications, NLP, and data science, with active involvement in projects like P2P energy trading systems and digital identity solutions.
