Alexander De Foe is a Lecturer in Counselling at the School of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Monash University. He completed his PhD at Monash University in 2016 and later held an industry fellowship at RMIT University, where he co-established a Virtual Reality (VR) and Mental Health Laboratory.
His research spans altered states of consciousness across cross-cultural and developmental contexts, integrating transpersonal psychology, psycho-spiritual development, and sensory/perceptual phenomena. His publications focus on psychedelic experiences, ASMR, virtual reality applications, and consciousness theories.
