Dr. Alexander Cook is a Lecturer in the School of History at the Australian National University (ANU). His research focuses on intellectual and cultural history of Britain, France, and their colonial worlds from the 18th century onward, emphasizing political thought, empire, and the Enlightenment. He holds a BA (Hons) from ANU and M.Phil/PhD from the University of Cambridge.
