Alexander Booth

Dr. Alexander Booth is a Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London's School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, Department of Physics and Astronomy. His research focuses on neutrino oscillations, particularly through accelerator-based experiments. He earned his PhD in 2021 with work on three-flavor oscillations at the NOvA Experiment, where he co-leads a machine learning analysis working group. He has contributed to the DUNE project at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (USA) and CERN (Switzerland).

His outreach initiatives include co-founding the 'MiniPix' branch of the PRiSE project, engaging schools in physics research. He has spoken at events like New Scientist's 'Instant Expert' on subatomic physics. His experimental collaborations span international institutions, emphasizing both fundamental research and public engagement.
