Alexa Perez is an Assistant Professor of Law at Drake University's Law School. Her expertise spans Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Federal Criminal Law. She joined Drake Law School in 2023 after roles as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Iowa, a Managing Associate at Sidley Austin in Chicago, and a Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. Edmond Chang in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a PILI Fellow with the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
