Dr. Alex Schady is a Lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, part of the University of the Arts London. His practice spans drawing, video, sculpture, and performance, exploring the coexistence of seemingly incompatible media like sculpture and video. He co-founded Five Years Gallery, an artist-run space integrating programming, curation, and artistic practice.
His recent projects include the exhibition Rulers at Camden Arts Centre (2011), a series of performances titled Misguided at Tate Modern's Oil Tanks (2012), and a solo show Besame Mucho at Five Years Gallery (2013).
