Alex Robinson

Alex Robinson is a Senior Lecturer in Radiotherapy & Oncology at Sheffield Hallam University's School of Health and Social Care. He joined in 2014 after clinical roles at Southampton General Hospital and St James' Teaching Hospital (Leeds), specializing in radiotherapy planning and 4D techniques.

He leads the BSc Radiotherapy & Oncology program, the Contemporary Radiotherapy Planning Practice MSc module, and serves as radiation protection supervisor. His MA in Education informs curriculum development in radiation physics, dosimetry, and technology-enhanced learning.

Research focuses on:

• Decision-making in image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) via eye-tracking
• Simulated placements
• AI in radiotherapy treatment planning
