Dr. Alex Murray is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Crime & Justice Policy Research (ICPR) at Birkbeck, University of London, where she has been based since 2021. She leads multiple research projects focused on legal processes and vulnerable populations, including studies funded by the Nuffield Foundation, ESRC, and Home Office.

Research Focus: Murray's work examines disability in welfare systems, coronial processes, and administrative justice, with particular emphasis on:
