Alex Mueller

Alex Mueller is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics & Health Education at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He holds an M.S. in Physical Education Pedagogy (with an emphasis in Adventure Education) from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse (2014) and a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (2012). His expertise includes Physical Education Pedagogy, Adapted Physical Education, and Adventure Education & Outdoor Pursuits.

Dr. Mueller has 3 years of P-12 teaching experience and 4 years at the post-secondary level. He is certified to teach PreK-12 physical education, adapted physical education, and athletics coaching. He has volunteered as a facilitator at the ropes course for Waterwood School at Winnebago Mental Health Institute for 2 years.

He joined UW Oshkosh in September 2014 and typically teaches courses in Active Lifestyles & Personal Health, Adventure Education, Outdoor Pursuits, and Adapted Physical Education, while supervising practicum students.
