Alex Mold

Professor Alex Mold is a historian of public health in modern Britain and Co-Head of the Doctoral College at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He holds a Professorship in the Department of Public Health, Environments and Society within the Faculty of Public Health and Policy. His academic journey includes roles from Lecturer (2007) to Professor (2023), with prior research fellowships and degrees from the University of Birmingham (BA, 2000; PhD, 2004) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) from the University of London.
