Alex Meisami

Alex Meisami serves as Associate Professor of Finance and Chair of Accounting, Finance, and International Business at Indiana University South Bend's Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. A dual-certified CPA and CMA, he actively coordinates the CMA Scholarship Program through the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) while maintaining professional affiliations with the Academy of Finance (MBAA Chicago).

Dr. Meisami's research program critically examines corporate financial decision-making frameworks, international tax implications for multinational enterprises, and pedagogical innovations in undergraduate finance education. His scholarship bridges theoretical finance principles with practical applications in financial statement analysis and global market dynamics, emphasizing curriculum development for next-generation finance professionals.

His teaching excellence has been formally recognized through:

• Three consecutive Excellence in Teaching Awards from the Judd Leighton School (2014-2016)
