Aletheia Ida

Aletheia Ida is an Adjunct Associate Professor at The Cooper Union's School of Architecture, leveraging 25+ years in architecture practice and academia. She holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on socio-environmental technology and sustainable design. Ida founded AIDA, LLC, to provide accessible design guidance for energy-efficient, healthy spaces. She co-founded Analemma, a practice for innovative art and design.

Previous academic roles include associate professorships at the University of Arizona and University of Pennsylvania, with guest lectures at Yale, Princeton, and Howard University. Her research examines building performance analytics and human-nature symbiosis through alternative construction methods.
