Dr. Alessio Delogu is a Professor in Developmental Neurobiology at King's College London, affiliated with the School of Neuroscience and the Department of Basic & Clinical Neuroscience. His research focuses on inhibitory neuronal development and function in subcortical brain structures, particularly the thalamus, with implications for sensory perception, attention, sleep regulation, and psychiatric disorders. His lab employs functional neuroanatomy, genetics, and behavioral assays to study neural circuits in health and disease.
